Abstract

Vastavalt tegumoele on modelleeritud moekohased tuletused, millele lisati juurde paljundusskeemid. Moekohaste lõigete kontrollimiseks õmmeldi maketid. Mudelite tehniline paljundamine on tehtud skaalal 122-170. Mudelite tehnoloogia ülevaade on antud läbilõikejooniste abil. Valminud mudelite juures on aspekte, mida on võimalik edasi arendada, kuid esialgsed esiknäidised istuvad hästi.

Abstract [en]

This graduation thesis is called ,,School Uniform Models Development for Vormivabrik OÜ”. The main purpose of this thesis was to develop new school uniform models for boys and girls. School uniforms have a long history. In the beginning the purpose of school uniforms were to unify students and at first they were not mandatory, but since 1960’s the uniforms began being mandatory. The basic school uniform clothings were jackets, vest, trousers and dresses. Nowadays uniforms have started to being more casual for example sweatshirts and more colorful. In the process of this thesis two models were developed, girls jacket ,,Birgit’’ and boys jacket ,,Oliver’’. This graduation thesis is composed of chapters which are: models planning, construction, tehnology, patterns and price development. To confirm the need for this topic, there was carried out an consumers survey and childrens idea contest. In the surveys result it turned out that parents are in favor of school uniforms if they were more accessible and cheaper. In the contest came out that children like to wear clothings that are softer and made of knittted fabrics. The second part is focused on developing construction and tehnology for the jackets. The basic pattern for model ,,Birgit” is in size 164 and model ,,Oliver” is in size 134. M.Müller&Sohn system was used for the construction. After that the final patterns and pattern grading were made. Patterns grading was in the scale of 122-170. In the last chapter there are brought out fabric and thread costs. Lay plans were made for main fabric, lining and strength fabrics. Fabrics cost for model ,,Birgit’’ were 23,4 € and for model ,,Oliver’’ were 24,2 €. Models prices are in the interval of 32,4 – 33,2 €, which are higher to what was planned in the beginning. For the further development of these models there should be used more cheaper fabrics. In this graduation thesis two jacket samples were developed, which were girls jacket ,,Birgit’’ and boys jacket ,,Oliver’’. For futher development improvement there are some aspects that can be change, but the sample jackets fit is good.
