Abstract

Abstract [en]

In the final work, the manufacturing technology of the injection mold V747 was developed. The base company of the dissertation was Sumar Tools OÜ. The description of the construction of the manufacturing injection mold explained the properties of the product to be poured and the material required for production. The operation of the injection molding machine, the cycles of which it consists, were also described. The injection mold was divided into two halves of the matrix and the stamp in order to show which components the injection mold consists of and to explain the functions of these components. The choice of material needed to produce the injection mold is then described and justified. Technological routes for the production of injection mold components were developed. The fabrication of injection mold components before and after heat treatment was then described with milling mode calculations using tool modes. In the case of the electrical discharge machining, the nature of the technology was described, as well as the modeling and manufacture of electrodes necessary for its implementation. Finally, the cost of the injection mold was calculated. According to the technology described in the dissertation, the components of the injection mold were manufactured under the designation "V747". The locksmiths then assembled the injection mold. Production tests were carried out with good results and the injection mold was sent to the customer, who started to produce caps. In conclusion, the injection molding manufacturing technology was developed and the goal of the dissertation has been achieved.
