Abstract

Lõputöö eesmärgiks oli leida höövelmaterjali käitlemisliinile parim lahendus eri pikkustes materjalipakkide käsitlemiseks. Esmalt tuli leida võimalikud lahendused pakkide vahele kiletusruumi tekitamiseks. Järgmisena pidi valima võimalikest variantidest parima, selle käigus hinnati varuosade saadavust ning võimaliku rikke korral tootmisseisaku minimaliseerimist. Lähteülesande lahendamiseks valis töö autor pneumaatilised tõsteplaadid. Siduri kasutamisel on suurem oht tootmisseisakuteks. Kui sidur lakkab tavapäraselt töötamast, peatub kogu tootmisprotsess ning pakke pole võimalik tootmishoonest välja saata. Pneumaatiliste tõsteplaatide mittetoimimise tõenäosus on väiksem ja kui need ei tööta, saab ikkagi tootmisprotsessi jätkata ja jätta pakendamine hilisemasse etappi. Pneumaatiliste tõsteplaatide paigaldamisega on antud töö eesmärk täidetud. Töö eesmärgi saavutamisel lihtsustus kahe erineva mõõtmega lühemate laudade tootmine. Seega on tõsteplaatide paigaldamisega võimalik suunata kahe erineva pikkusega pakid ühte pakkealasse. Arvutustulemused näitavad, et antud parenduse tasuvusaeg on 4,8 aastat. Parendus aitab kaasa ka töötajate tööergonoomikale. Tootmisprotsess muutub antud parendusega efektiivsemaks, sest senise tootmisprotsesside osad tekitasid seisakuid. Seisak seisnes selles, et operaator pidi praaktoodangut ringi paigutama, sest lisaks praagile sattus sinna B kvaliteediga toodang. Parenduse tulemusena ei satu praagi hulka enam B kvaliteedi materjali.

Abstract [en]

The objective of the final paper was to find the best solution for handling material packages of different lengths on the handling line of planed material. First, it was necessary to find possible solutions to make room for laminating between the packages. After that, the author had to choose the best amongst possible solutions – in the course of that, the author assessed the availability of spare parts and the possibility of minimising production interruptions in the case of potential failures. In order to solve the initial task, the author of this paper chose to use pneumatic lifting tables. The use of a clutch involves a greater risk of production interruptions. If the clutch stops operating as normal, the whole production process stops and it is not possible to dispatch packages from the production building. Pneumatic lifting tables are less likely to stop functioning, and, even if they malfunction, it is possible to continue the production process and move packaging to a later stage. The installation of pneumatic lifting tables helped to achieve the objective of this paper. Fulfilling the objective of this paper also simplified the production of material in two different short lengths. After the installation of lifting tables, it is possible to direct packages of two different lengths to the same packaging area. Calculation results show that the cost-effectiveness period of this improvement is 4.8 years. The improvement facilitates the work ergonomics of employees. It makes the production process more efficient, because different sections involved in previous production processes caused production interruptions. In the case of interruptions, the operator had to relocate defective products, because defective materials also involved products of class B quality. Due to this improvement, defective materials no longer involve products of class B quality, but only defective products.
