Abstract

Käesolev lõputöö on valminud AS FORS MW baasil koostöös Tallinna Tehnikakõrgkooliga. Lõputöö majanduslikus osas leiti, et arvestades vähenenud keevitamise aega, kuid kallimat seadme kulu, on siiski robotkeevitusega keevitatava toote kulutus 1,3 € võrra väiksem tootelt. Arvestades tehnoloogia välja töötamisele kulunud summat tasub tehnoloogia kasutusele võtmine ennast ära peale 4 aastat.

Abstract [en]

The following graduation thesis, product „Frame Lock Base” technology modernizing for robot welding, is based on AS FORS MW in cooperation with Tallinn University of Applied Sciences. The aim was to determine the effectiveness of robot welding and payback time compared to manual welding. The practical part of the thesis was done with the robot welding system provided by Yaskawa Motoman, which consists of a MH12 welding robot and MT1 positioning table. First part of the thesis was to introduce the object of thesis and technology of its preparation. Equipment and technology for robot welding were introduced. In the second part, the construction of the robot welding jig was designed and selected and the necessary accuracy calculations were performed for the repositioning of the unit in the positioner. In the third part of the thesis, the fastening force calculation was performed on the tower, and with this data a strength calculation was performed on the torsion. Based on strength calculations, the design elements were dimensioned to match the tensile strength of the materials used. In the fourth part, the order of welding was determined according to the reduction of the quick movements and to harmonize temperature between the parts in-between passages. In addition, welding modes were determined according to practical tests. In the fifth part, the costs of robot welding were calculated and compared to the results obtained by hand welding. In this part, the cost of designing and manufacturing the frame was also found, plus the cost of setting up the robot welding. In the economics part of the thesis it was found that due to the reduced cycle time, but the more expensive device cost, the cost of the robot welded product is still less by 1.3 €. Considering the cost of developing the technology, the introduction of technology is worth it after 4 years.
