Abstract

Lõputöö eesmärgiks oli e-kauplustes müüdavate suuremahuliste kaupade Harjumaa veoturule sisenemise tasuvuse hindamine ettevõttes Itella Estonia OÜ. Autor defineeris suuremahuliseks kaubaks kõik saadetised, mis ei mahu Itella Estonia OÜ pakiautomaadi kõige suuremasse kappi, mille mõõtudeks on 60x36x60 cm ja 35 kg. Järjest konkurentsitihedamaks muutuval logistikamaastikul on autori hinnangul vajalik leida uusi turge ning laiendada pakutavate teenuste profiili. Uurimustöös leitud tulemused näitavad, et ekauplustes eraisikutele müüdavate suuremahuliste kaupade Harjumaa veoturule sisenemine võiks olla ettevõttele Itella Estonia OÜ tasuv ja ettevõte võiks seda soovitust tõsiselt kaaluda.

Abstract [en]

The aim of the thesis was to assess the profitability of transport of large-scale goods to private consumers in Harju county in the e-commerce market by analyzing critical success factors in Itella Estonia OÜ. The author defines a large-scale product as all shipments that do not fit into the largest locker of 60x36x60 cm and 35 kg of Itella Estonia OÜ parcel terminals [1]. Itella Estonia OÜ was founded in 2002 as a subsidiary of Posti Group OY and belongs to the Itella Logistics group of companies. As a large company, the company provides almost all logistics services: administration, sales department, road transport, air and maritime transport, courier service, warehouse logistics and domestic transport. In an increasingly competitive logistics landscape, the author suggests that it is necessary for a company to find new markets and expand their service profile. The results found in this research show that entry to the transport market of large-scale goods sold in e-commerce stores to private consumers in Harju county is profitable for Itella Estonia OÜ and should be seriously considered by the company.
