Abstract

Muusika on tähtsal kohal iga inimese elus, eriti eestlase, kuna meie kurva ajaloo võimsamad hetked on sündinud just muusika saatel. Käesoleva lõputöö teemaks on projekteerida Tartu Emajõe kaldale suure hingega kontserdimaja, mille seinte keskel saab iga inimene osa võtta erinevate maade kultuurist, nautida muusikaelamusi, maitsta toiduvõlusid ning kogeda kunstiväärtusi. Hoone kutsub end külastama iga kell, enne tööd, peale tööd, töö ajal ja ka vabal ajal. Kontserdimaja asub Tartu linnas Turu tänava ääres, kus hetkel asub Tartu vana keskkatlamaja. Tartlaste ja ka linna külastajate poolt on see ala tähelepanuta jäänud, kuigi asub piltilusa Emajõe lõunapoolsel kaldal. Projekteerides sinna kontserdimaja koos lisafunktsioonidega, pikendab see inimeste silmis Tartu kesklinna väärtuslikku ala. Keskkatlamaja mälestades ja austades on alles jäetud korsten, mille tipust saab imelisi vaateid nautida. Säilitatud on ka jäetud ka katlamaja Turu tänavaäärne ehitusjoon. Emajõeäärne fassaad on inspireeritud Emajõe enda voolujoonelistest joontest, selliselt ongi kokku saanud range keskkatlamaja olemus ning loominguline ning vaba Emajõe hing, nagu tõeline eestlane. Kontserdimaja majutab, lisaks kahele kontserdisaalile, endas veel restorani koos terassiga, kunstigaleriid, mis voolab läbi fuajee, ning kingipoodi koos 90m kõrgusel oleva vaateplatvormiga. Hoonet toetab veel välilava koos maalilise pargiga, kus on kavandatud lastele mänguplats, lõõgastusalad, puudealleed ning jõeäärsed vabaajaveetmise terrassid. Praeguseni on jäänud Tartu olemasolevad kontserdisaalid kas liiga väikeseks või akustiliselt nõrgaks suurematele kontsertidele, siis uus saal kutsub ülemaailmseid kunstiteoseid enda lavale mängima. Emajõe Kontserdimaja kavandamisega lisandub suur hulk vaba aja veetmise viise mitte ainult tartlaste rutiinsesse ellu, vaid kõigi ellu, kes Tartut külastavad.

Abstract [en]

Music plays an important role in the lives of every person, especially estonians, because the moments of our sad history have been accompanied with music. This thesis represents the design of a large concert house built on the banks of the Emajõgi river in Tartu, where every person can take part in the culture of different countries, enjoy musical performances, taste exquisite food and experience art shows. The building invites you to visit it any time, whether it is before work, after work, during work or during free time. The Concert Hall is located on the plot of 18 Turu street in Tartu, where Tartu's old central boiler house is currently located. The visitors of Tartu and the residents have always overlooked this area, although it is located on the southern shore of the picturesque Emajõgi river. Designing a concert hall with additional features will add immense value to the city center of Tartu. To show respect to the old central boiler house, the chimney has been repurposed as a viewpoint on top of which you can enjoy wonderful views, and the construction line of the old boiler house has also been kept. The rolling facade is inspired by the lines of the Emajõgi itself, thus the strict nature of the boiler house and the creative and free soul of the Emajõgi have been combined, like a true estonian. In addition to the two concert halls, the building houses a restaurant with terrace, art gallery that runs throughout the entire lobby, and a gift shop that leads to a 90m high viewpoint. The building is also supported by a playground with a picturesque park, which has a children's play area, relaxation areas, parkways and river-side open-air terraces. To this day, the existing concert halls of Tartu have remained to be either too small or acoustically too weak for larger concerts, the new hall will invite world-class works of art to play on its stage. With the new building of the Emajõgi Concert Hall, a large number of leisure activities will be added not only to the routine lives of the Tartu residents, but to all those who visit Tartu.
