Abstract

Lõputöö ülesandeks oli projekteerida katsestend väikemootorite katsetamiseks. Teoreetilises osas selgitati, miks on katsestendid vajalikud, kes neid kasutavad ja mis sealt lõpuks saadakse. Veel oli välja toodud ka loetelu erinevate olemasolevate katsestendide ja katsestendide pidurite kohta. Samuti võrreldi ka enimkasutatavaid katsestende ning välja oli toodud ka mootori karakteristiku sõltuvus piduri karakteristikast. Praktilises osas projekteeriti katsestend, leiti vajalikud komponendid, mida on vaja katsestendi töötamiseks ning nende maksumus. Poolte komponentide modelleerimiseks kasutati programmi „Solid Edge ST9“ ning ülejäänud komponendid olid saadaval erinevate tootjate ja edasimüüjate poolt. Komponentide valimisel oli tähtis, et oleks võimalus kasutada ka teisi mootoreid ning ülekandeid. Kogu katsestendi projekti eesmärgiks oli, et kas on võimalik valmistada katsestend odavamalt, kui juba valmistoode. Käesoleva töö raames sai eesmärk täidetud, võrreldes valmistootega on projekteeritud katsestendi maksumus ligikaudu 30 % madalam, kui ei arvestata valmistoote saatmis- ning tollikulusid ja projekteeritud katsestendi töökulusid.

Abstract [en]

The aim of the thesis was to design a test bench for small combustion engines. In theoretical part, author explained why test benches are needed, who are using them and what is the outcome. In addition, a list of already existing test benches and test bench brakes was introduced. Also, the most commonly used test benches were compared to each other and the dependence of the engine’s characteristic on the brake characteristic was also shown. In practical part the test bench was designed, necessary components for making the test bench work and their cost. For designing half of the components, Solid Edge ST9 was used and the remaining components were available from different manufacturers and dealers. When choosing the components, it was important that the option of using other engines and ratios is possible . The goal of the test bench project was to see whether is it possible to make a test bench cheaper than a finished product. In this thesis, the goal was met, compared to the finished product, the cost of the designed test bench is about 30 % lower than the cost of the finished product, if the customs and shipping cost is not included and the cost of fabricating designed test bench
