Abstract

Lõputöö teemaks on „Ralliauto ehitus Honda Civicu baasil“. Töö eesmärgiks oli ehitada konkurentsivõimeline ralliauto ning seda eelarveliselt võimalikult odavalt. Töös esimeses osas kirjeldati originaalmootorit ning selle erinevaid sõlmesid, tutvustati rallikrossi olemust ning tehnilisi tingimusi, mida pidi järgima selle ehituse käigus. Lisaks tehti ka mootoriga mõned mõõtmised. Töö teises pooles leiti võimalusi originaalmootori võimsuse tõstmiseks lähtuvalt enamasti eelarvest. Mootoris tehti muudatusi nii mootoriplokis, mootori sisselaskesüsteemis, mootori väljalaskesüsteemis, kütusesüsteemis, gaasijaotusmehhanismis. Lisaks suurendati mootori surveastet võimsuse tõstmiseks ning viidi läbi mõningad pisemad jahutussüsteemi muudatused. Seoses mootorist tuleneva suurema väljundvõimsusega ehitati ümber ka pidurisüsteem. Pidurid pandi suuremad, et paranda nende efektiivsust. Kõiki originaalmootori sõlmesid ei olnud vajalik ümber ehitada, kuna need on tehasest juba piisava varuga ning antud ehituse käigus ei pidanud ehitust oluliseks. Selleks oli mootori õlitussüsteem ja suuremas osas ka jahutusüsteem. Silindritesse paigaldati kõrgema surveastmega sepiskolvid ning paigaldati ka suurema klapitõusuga nukkvõllid. Suurendati ka sisselaske ning väljalaske läbilaskevõimet neid vastavalt modifitseerides. Optimeeriti jõuülekanne vastavalt rallisõidu vajadustele ning muudeti veermiku seadeid selleks, et parandada auto juhitavust ekstreemsetes olukordades. Varuosade valik teostati vastavalt eelarvele, varuosade sobivusele ning tarneajale. Kõiki jõuallikas tehtud muudatusi juhib Hondata mootori juhtplokk. Töö teostamise käigus selgus, et püstitatud eelarve eesmärk sai kõvasti ületatud. Lisaks soovitud mootori väljundvõimsus (140 kW) jäi saavutamata. Ümberehituse tulemusel saavutas mootor 135 kW. Saadi ka aru, et kogu projekt oli väga ajamahukas, kogu ehituse ajaks võib arvestada koos varuosade otsimisega, sobivuse kontrolliga, tarneajaga ning reaalsete ehitustöödega terve aasta. Kogu projekt ehitati vastavalt Eesti Autorspordi Liidu rallikrossi nõuetele. Sõiduk hakkab ka võistlema superkrossi klassis ning ka Eesti Meistrivõistlustel.

Abstract [en]

The topic of this graduation thesis is „Rebuilding a Honda Civic for racing“. The aim of this thesis was to build a car that can stay up with the competition. In the first part of thesis, original condition and technological features of engine were observed. The requirements of technical specification to build this race car were introduced. In addition, some measurements were taken from original engine. In the second part of this thesis alternative ways to build the engine for more power was researched taking in consideration of the budget. Changes in the powerplant were made such as engine block, intake system, exhaust system, gas distribution mechanism and fuel system. Compression ratio was raised in order to make more power and some minor cooling system modifications were made. Due to greater engine output power, some brake system enhancements had to be done. Bigger brakes were installed in order to make braking more efficient. Every engine part did not need to be replaced or modificated due to fact that some original spare parts could handle the rebuilt engines power. Original camshafts were replaced with camshafts with bigger valve lift, intake and exhaust efficiency was improved by machining the engine cylinder head. Transmission was optimised to meet the requirements of rally driving and suspensioon kinematics were aligned for rally driving. The decision of spare parts were made taking in consideration of budget, accessibility and shipping time. Every modification done on the engine is controlled by Hondata engine control unit. During the project it was clear that the stated budget goal was crossed and the build was more expensive. Engine output power goal was not met as the power goal was 140 kW. In the result of the rebuild the engine made 135 kW of power. The whole project was very time consuming and the total time spent on looking for spare parts and building the project was about a year. The car meets the requirements of Estonian Autosport Union rally specifications. The car is going to compete in Estonian rally championship.
