Abstract

Lõputöö seatud eesmärk oli taaskasutada tekkivat tootmisjääki ettevõtte Diapol Granite OÜ näitel. Töös toodi välja aastas tekkiv tootmisjäägi kogus ja selle utiliseerimise maksumus. Tutvustatud on materjale, millest jääk tekib, nagu graniit, marmor ja kvarts, nende kasutusalasid ning töötlemisprotsesse. Lisaks on selgitatud konkreetseid tegevusi, mida tuleb teha eesmärgi saavutamiseks. Ettevõtte tutvustuses on välja toodud struktuur ja olemasolevad ressursid. Lõputöös oli võetud sihiks kasutada tootmisjääki uute toodete tootmisel. Töö käigus selgus, et uute toodete tootmine ei vaja lisainvesteeringuid materjali taaskasutamiseks – seda tänu ettevõtte piisavalt suurele masinapargile ja vabadele ressurssidele. Näidistoodeteks valis autor graniitvaasi ja graniidist kliendipastapliiatsi aluse. Valitud toodete kohta on töös välja toodud tootmisprotsess ja tootmise omahinna arvutused. Tasuvusanalüüsis selgus, et valitud meetod tootmisjäägi taaskasutamiseks on kasumlik. Siinne lõputöö annab ülevaate Diapol Granite OÜ-le ning ka teistele kivist tasapindade tootjatele, kuidas minimaalsete lisakuludega saada senisest kuluartiklist uut lisatulu.

Abstract [en]

The following graduation thesis Recycling Production Waste with Particular Reference to Diapol Granite OÜ is aimed to reduce the amount of production waste that is thrown away annually. Diapol produces around 500 tonnes of stone waste per year. Utilizing that amount of waste costs the company around 5700 Euros. Author introduces the materials used in Diapol such as Granite, Marble and Quartz, the manufacturing processes of those materials and where they are used. The structure of the company and its available resources are pointed out in the first chapter introducing the company. To reduce the waste ammount the author describes the production of two new possible products, that are made from production waste. First is a granite vase and second is a pen holder from granite. Work revealed that producing new products from waste will not require any additional investments thanks to company´s large enough machinery inventory and available resources. The production process and the production cost calculations are described in the thesis. Cost-benefit analysis shows that selected method of recycling production waste is profitable. This thesis provides an overview to Diapol Granite OÜ as well as to other stone worktop manufacturers, how to turn todays expenses into extra revenue with minial additional costs.
