Abstract

Lõputöö kirjeldab ettevõtte Võidu Invest OÜ baasil pulbervärvimisliini projekteerimist esitatud nõuete põhjal. Nõueteks olid kompaktsus, kandevõime, paindlikkus. Projektis on tutvustatud Võidu Invest OÜ ettevõtet ja igapäevast tegevust ettevõttes. Probleemi lahendamiseks oli vaja analüüsida olemasolevat liini. Vana liin on töös olnud ligi 3 aastat, tootmismahu suurenemise tõttu ei ole antud liin enam optimaalne tulevikku arvestades. Kliendibaasi väljakujunemise tõttu on teada üldised detailid ja koostud, mida pulbervärvimisliin peab igapäevaselt teenindama, seetõttu on optimaalne nende detailide põhjal ka uus liin projekteerida. Projektis on tutvustatud ka pulbervärvimistehnoloogiat üldiselt. Pulbervärvimistehnoloogia on perspektiivikas ala, arvestades keskkonnaohutusnõuete ja -eelkirjutuste suurenemist vedelvärvimisel eriti. Pulbervärvimine on alternatiiv vedelvärvimisele. Ettevõtte poolt seatud eesmärgid said täidetud. Uue liini pindala on 20% väiksem ning tootlikkus kahekordne. Samuti on liin palju suurema paindlikkusega, kui arvestada detailide paigutuse võimalusel liinil. Esimese osas autor lahendab konstruktsioonilised lähteülesanded ning valmistab koostejoonised. Teises osas on läbiviidud tugevusarvutused, tugevuskatsed ning arvestatud temperatuuride mõju konstruktsioonidele. Tugevusanalüüsi põhjal on võimalik järeldada, et liin vastab ettevõtte poolt seatud nõuetele on ohutu ning on valmis tegutsema suurenenud tootlikkuse tingimustes. Kolmandas osas on viidud läbi majanduslik osa, sealjuures tasuvusaja arvutused, mille tulemusel jäi projekt eelarve piiridesse ning ettevõttepoolne eesmärk on saavutatud.

Abstract [en]

Project was made in conjunction with the company called Võidu Invest OÜ. This document describes the processes that took place in order for the successful completion of said project. Võidu Invest OÜ is a small company in Lääne-Virumaa county, Estonia. The company got it’s start in coating metal constructions for other nearby companies. As the company grew so did it’s field of work. Now the company has a wide array of industrial equipment capable of doing metalwork and painting. Project describes the design and construction of powder coating line(hereby: the line, line). Võidu Invest OÜ has a lot of experience in powder coating since the company has provided said service for nearly 3 years now. The old line is not sufficient in structure or efficiency for the future use. So the company needed to design new powder coating line. This thesis describes the process. First and second part of the thesis describes the overall process of powder coating and theories behind it. It also introduces the Võidu Invest OÜ. It’s general arrangements in daily activity. Third part is dedicated to the construction side of the project. It begins with the core problems that need to be addressed for the successful completion of the project. Main things to know are the limited space available, flexibility of the line and the load capacity. The line is mainly made out of S355 construction steel. The profile used is I-beam which provides the best rigidity for the structure. Also in this part are the chosen bearings and etc. General movement of the line is also described in this part. Fourth part is for the strength analysis of the line. It’s a very important part of the thesis, since the line needs to handle quite heavy loads. If something were to break it would jeopardize the safety of the painter. CAD software SolidWorks was used for the most of the FEM analysis. Manual calculations were made for the comparison. Simulations can be seen in the pictures. Fifth part is a financial summary. All the costs that went into the completion of the powder coating line are described in this part. Also the break even point is calculated in this part. Costs include the raw materials, store-bought elements and the wages. Safety requirements necessary for operating the line or working near it are addressed in part three. Powder coating is different from a conventional liquid paint because it is applied to the surface in a dry powder form. The powder is attracted to the part because of electrostatic charge produced by the electrostatic gun. The part that is being coated is grounded. The powder coating is then heated in an oven. The heat melts the coating and then it solidifies as it cools, leaving a very durable layer of paint. The advantages of powder coating over conventional liquid coating are: No volatile organic compounds No solvents, this means reduced fire risk and no chemical waste. Less waste in general. Powder can be recycled. Processing times for powder are generally shorter than for liquid coatings, because you don’t have to wait for the paint to dry. Coated parts pass directly to the oven saving time. Reduced health risks for operators. The initial goals were achieved.
