Abstract

Kui võtta nüüd teema kokku, ning peaks otsustama kumma tunneli variandi kasuks, siis mina valiksin terastunneli. Põhjuseks on see, et antud objektil on ainult üherajaline raudtee. See tähendab, et seal saab teha lühikese sirge tunneli. Ei midagi keerulist. Nagu eelpool ka tuli juba välja, siis terastunnelil on lühem ja kiirem tööaaeg kui on vaja välja vahetadavõi hooldust teha. Muidugi väike tähelepanek ehituse poolelt, tunneli otsad oleks kena viimistleda. Kuigi soovime projekti hinda hoida küll suhteliselt madala, siis tiheasustuses võiks tunneli visuaalne pilt olla konkreetsemalt lahendatud kui ainult terase serva ja pinnase kokku viimine. Muidugi saab ka terastunneli otsad teha tugevamad ja viisakamad. Kui muidugi ei võeta otsust, et tuleb lihtne lahendus ja otsad jäävad lihtsad. Teraskonstruktsioon sobib sellises kohas kuna see ei asuks kesklinnas vaid kohas, kus on väiksem liiklustihedus (jalakäijad). Terastoru tunneli saab teha ka korraliku ja vastupidava. See on väga kiirelt valmiv, mis on terastoru suurim eelis. Terastunnelid võiks olla pikkusega 10-12 m. Et võiks olla seal, kus on kitsas teetamm, puuduvad kommunikatsioonid. Asuks seal, kus on üherajaline raudtee, kus tunneli vahetusega läheks väga kiirelt. Tunneli valikul peab muidugi ütlema ka raudteeomanik, mis on tulevikuvaated sealsel teel. On ehk plaan laiendada mitmeteeliseks. Või on plaan sinna teele raskemaid rongeplaanida tulevikus. Muidugi lõplik tõde selgub kui omavalitsuse ja raudtee omanik istuvad laua taha ja lepivad kokku, kuidas on koos võimalik teha nii, et maksumused ei tõuseks lakke. Need on need projektid, mis on panus paremasse tulevikku.

Abstract [en]

The final paper iswritten on the topic Pedestrian subway in Rakvere. Rakvere is a small town in Estonian eastern part. This railway is the part of themain railway on the route from Tallinn to Narva. The main traffic there is caused by the transit trains. There is also the transportation for people but that is not yet so big part of the train traffic in Estonia. The railway is passing through Rakvere that divides Rakvere practically into two parts. Right now is the railway crossing for pedestrian an usual crossroad where they have to be very careful and check the train traffic before crossing it. Unfortunately the people especially children are not very careful and accidents happens there from time to time. And these accidents are fatal. Considering the fact that the train traffic is getting more and more frequent I find necessary to find a proper solution on this crossroad. Solution where people can cross that railway safely. It is really important because there is a growing residential area one the one side of the railway and the city with all the infrastructure on the other side of the railway. It means that hundreds of people need to cross that railway every day including children there are going back and forth from home to school and kindergarten. So basically there is a solution to solve this problem by building a subway under the railway for pedestrian. And even more - there are two options - one is to build a pipe subway from steel and the other option is to use a concrete for such a subway. This paper is focusing the difference between these two options and tries to figure out which one is more suitable solution there. I really hope that one day this subway is becoming a reality and it will be a big help to both - pedestrians and to railway also.
