Abstract

Telemaatikasüsteemide kasutamine veondusettevõtetes võib avaldada märkimisväärset mõju reisija mugavusele, keskkonna säästmisele, veokuludele, bussijuhi töötasule jms. Autor soovis uurida telemaatikasüsteemide kasutamise seost eeltooduga, lähtudes töö käigus korraldatud uurimustulemustest, analüüsidest ja kokkuvõtetest. Kokku osales uuringutes viis telemaatikasüsteemi teenuseosutajat, viis veondusettevõtet ja 40 bussijuhti. Kuuest püstitatud hüpoteesist leidis kinnitust üks, kaks lükati ümber ja kolm hüpoteesi ei leidnud kinnitust. Käesolevast lõputööst leiavad telemaatikasüsteemide rakendamisega kaasnevaid soovitusi veondusettevõtjad, telemaatikasüsteemide teenuseosutajad ja ka bussijuhid. Diplomitöö kirjutaja pakub välja, et telemaatikasüsteemide võimalikku kasu võiks uurida laiemalt, käsitledes näiteks võimalikku kasu teede liiklustiheduse hindamisel või muudel seninägematutel rakendustel, kõikvõimalike metaandmete kasutamisega, mida tänapäevane telemaatikasüsteem võimaldab edastada. Raskeveokite, aga ka busside metaandmeid on võimalik jälgida reaalajas. Metaandmeid oleks võimalik rakendada kasulikult, näiteks mis klass (M3, C), asukoht, sõidukiirus, kaal jne. Võimalik on üles leida bussiliikluse kitsaskohad, mis aeglustavad liiklust kõige rohkem. Tulevikus võiks olla eesmärk ühise platvormi loomine, kuhu kogutud metaandmed saadetakse. Metaandmeid analüüsides saaks hakata tegema järeldusi ja jätkata edasist uurimust.

Abstract [en]

The use of a telematic system in the transport enterprises could have a significant impact on the passenger's comfort, the environmental conservation, the transport costs, the wages of the bus driver, etc. The author wanted to explore the relationship between the use of telematics to the aforementioned which is on the basis of work carried out during the study, of the results of the analyses and conclusions. Five telematic system service providers, five bus transport companies, and 40 bus drivers took part in the survey. The first hypothesis of the sixth was confirmed. Two hypothesis were disproved and three hypotheses were not confirmed. The confirmed hypothesis: • The involvement of the bus drivers in the implementation of a telematic system increases the profitability of the transportation enterprise. In the study, it was revealed that the three-party cooperation has achieved great benefits. In the result of this action the, the driving will be improved as well as the traffic will become smoother, calmer and last but not least - safer. Hypotheses that were not confirmed: • The use of the telematics systems remotely does not give such results if it gives a close cooperation with the company to help them mounted telematics through the available information to define and manage the work for you. • Transportation companies won’t dare to invest in the telematics systems. • The bus drivers have a negative attitude towards a constant control. The lack of the amount of data was the reason why the broader conclusions were not possible to make. The following hypothesis was disproved: • The use of telematics systems can lead to cost savings. Although the cost savings could be made while training the bus drivers continuously and giving them feedback in order to improve their skills, the telematics system providers won’t guarantee cost savings. • Bus drivers are pessimistic about the telematics systems. Most of the drivers that replied to the questionnaire were positive about telematics systems. The bus transportation companies, the telematics system service providers as well as bus drivers can found some recommendations that are related to the implementation of the telematics systems are specified in this work. The metadata of heavy goods vehicle and also the metadata of the can be followed in live. All metadata can be usefully applied, for example, that class (M3, C), location, speed, weight, etc. You can find bus bottlenecks that slow down traffic the most. In the future, there should be a goal to create a common platform, where all vehicles metadata are collected. After analyzing metadata it might be possible to start making conclusions and then continue further research.
