Abstract

Antud lõputöö eesmärgiks oli mootori võimsuse suurendamine, saavutamaks lõppkiirusvõistlustel tulemuseks 270 km/h. Arvutuslikult eesmärk saavutati. Kõigepealt toodi välja erinevad alternatiivid mootori võimsuse suurendamiseks. Alternatiive on mitu, kuid arvestades mootori eripära, oli mootori tõhu tõstmine parim. Rõhu tõstmiseks vahetati tootjapoolne turbokompressor välja suurema vastu. Arvutati välja vajalik võimsus, kasutades keskmist kiirendust. Arvestada tuli ka takistusjõudusid ning sõiduki eripära. Selgus, et vajalik võimsus on ligi kaks korda tootjapoolsest võimsusest suurem. Turbokompressori valimiseks arvutati välja kompressorikaartidele kantavad punktid. Seejärel võrreldi erinevaid kompressorikaarte ning valikusse jäi kolm kõige sobivamat turbokompressorit. Valik nende vahel tehti arvestades hinda, sobivust mootoriga ning võimsuse kasvu. Valituks jäi Holset HX35 turbokompressor. Samuti pidi ka teisi mootori töös tähtsaid sõlmi uuendama, et vajalik võimsus saavutada. Mootori ehituses tehti täiendusi tugevamate kepsude näol, kütusesüsteemis vahetati välja kütusepump ning kütusepihustid, mootori juhtimises vahetati välja mootori juhtplokk. Ümber ehitati ka sisse-ja väljalaskesüsteem ning jõuülekandes vahetati sidurisüsteem ning hooratas. Kuna kogu teoreetiline osa sai ka praktiliselt läbi viidud, sai välja arvutada ka reaalse kogumaksumuse. Kuna lõputöö koostaja tegi enamus asju ise ning kasutada sai teatud soodustusi, pidi välja tooma ka uute detailide ning tellimustöö hinnakirja. Lõputöö kogumaksumuseks sai 4571 €. Praktilise osa lõppedes sai ka tulemused mõõta. Lõplik mootori võimsus on tootjapoolsest ligi kaks korda suurem. Täpsemalt 339 kW ehk 170 kW võrra suurem tootjapoolsest. Seega iga saavutatud kW maksumuseks on 26,9 €. Arvutuslikult sellest võimsusest piisab, kuid reaalselt pole lõputöös nimetatud võistlusel veel antud sõiduk osalenud, kuna ürituse aeg ei lange kokku lõputöö kirjutamise ajaga. Lõputöö oli autori jaoks väga õpetlik ning töö jooksul tekkis autoril palju kogemust ning uusi tutvusi, kes antud eriala hästi valdavad.

Abstract [en]

The aim of the thesis was to increase engine power, to accomplish 270 km/h result in a top speed competition. In calculatory terms, the goal was reached. First, the different alternatives for increasing engine power, were brought out. There are multiple alternatives, but considering the engine, raising the engine pressure was the best option. To increase the pressure, the factory turbocharger was replaced by a bigger one. The neccessary power was calculated, using average acceleration. The force of viscosity and the vehicle itself were also needed to take into consideration. It turned out that the neccessary power was nearly twice as much as the manufacturer’s original power. To choose the turbocharger, different points to insert onto the compressor maps were calculated. After that, the different compressor maps were compared and three most suitable turbochargers were picked. The choice between them was made considering price, fitment to the engine and power gain. The final choice was the Holset HX35 turbocharger. Other details also needed an update to achieve the required power. Updates in engine structure were stronger connecting rods, updates in fuel system included a different fuel pump and different fuel injectors, engine management system update included a different engine control unit. The intake and exhaust systems were also rebuilt, clutch system and flywheel were updated in the powertrain. Since all of the theoretical parts were also done in practice, the total cost of the project could also be calculated. Since the author did most of the work himself and used certain advantages, the cost of new details and custom work were also needed to bring out. The total cost of the thesis was 4571€. In the end of the practical work, results were also measured. The final power of the engine was nearly twice as much as the manufacturer’s. 339 kW to be exact. That is 170 kW more than the manufacturer’s. That means that every kW gained cost 26,9 €. In calculatory terms, the goal was reached, but in reality, the vehicle hasn’t been in the competition yet, because the date of the competition and the date of the thesis are different. The thesis was very instructive for the author. During the thesis, the author gained a lot of experience and new acquaintances, who know the speciality very well.
