Abstract

Antud diplomitöö käsitleb endise A. M. Lutheri Vineeri- ja Mööblivabriku ala mahulist lahendust. Pakutav lahendus seisneb planeeritavate hoonete tüpoloogiate segamisel nii, et kvartal leiaks 24/7 kasutust, mis oleks vastupidine olemasolevale olukorrale. Samuti tekitab selline l inimeste omavahelise aktiivsema suhtluse. Planeeringu alasse on põimitud omavahel äri-, büroo-, elamu-, tootmis-, kaubandus funktsioone. Pärnu maantee, Vineeri tänava, Vana-Lõuna tänava ja Tatari tänava vahele jääb 3,9 ha suurune ala. Kunagine A. M. Lutheri Vineeri- ja Mööblivabriku ansamblist on alles jäänud vaid 7 paekivist ehitist, mis kuuluvad riiklike kultuurimälestiste hulka. Kvartali omaaegne suursugusus on hääbunud. Territoorium on kinnine ja inimeste liikumine kvartalis peaaegu puudub täielikult. Kvartali Pärnu maanteepoolne uhke mööda Pärnu maanteed hoiab ala veelgi kinnisemana. Pika mahu arhitektuurne atraktiivsus on juba eemalt ligitõmbav, kuid hetkel hoones tegutsevad ärid ja muud asutused ei anna võmalust kogeda olemasolevat avarat ja põnevat ruumi ning avastada teisi hoonemahte kvartalis. Planeeritavate hoonemahtude kujunemine tuleneb olemasolevate mälestiste mustrilisusest ja inimeste liikumistrajektooridest. Antud lahendus loob huvitavaid sopilisusi antud alasse, mis omakorda pakuvad erinevaid võimalusi puhkekohtadeks ja kõrvalpõigeteks.

Abstract [en]

The diploma work is dealing with the former industrial quarter of A.M. Luther Factory proposal of volumes. The proposed solution consists mixing typologies of buildings the way that the quarter would be used 24/7, which would be opposite of the existing situation. Also this kind of approach creates more proactive communication between people. The planning proposal is mixing business, offices, housing, small manufacturing, commerce functions. Between Pärnu Road, Vineeri Street, Vana-Lõuna Street and Tatari Street there is area, which is 3,9 hectares big. The remaining limestone buildings of A.M Luther factory are only seven. Former greatness of the quarter is vanished. Right now territory is enclosed area and there is no movement of people. Quarters majestic barrier keeps this are even more closed. Architecture of this volume is already attractive from a distance, but at the moment companies which are operating in the building, don’t give a change to experience existing spacious room and explore other buildings in the quarter. Volumes of this proposal are formed from the existing buildings patterns and people trajectories of movement. This proposed idea creates exciting space with smaller areas, which offers different opportunities for rest areas and choosing paths.
