Abstract

Käesoleva diplomitöö teemaks on golfikeskuse rajamine Tallinnasse. Teatud piirkonnad muutuvad kinnisteks struktuurideks sealse funktsiooni tõttu. Sellised alad linna südames, mis ühendavad endas mitu funktsiooni on kvaliteetse linnaruumi loomisel väga olulisel kohal. Eesmärk on korrastada hetkel unarusse jäätud ala golfiväljaku näol, kuid säilitades jalutamisvõimalus juba praeguseks olemas oleval kergliiklusteel. Projekti järgselt on antud teed jätkatud nii, et see kulgeb mööda paeklindi servapidi jõudes välja pargini. Pargi funktsiooniks on eraldada golfiradu Narva maanteest, ning luua sujuv üleminek planeeritavalt rohealalt Lasnamäe kortermajadeni. Alale projekteeritud hoone arhitektuurne lahendus tuleneb paeklindist. Hoone koosneb neljast erikõrgusega mahust ulatudes ka osaliselt maa sisse. Kogu kontseptsioon tugineb paekivil ning selle sturktuuril. Hoone fassaad on kaetud paekiviga. Plaaniliselt on kõik mahud erikujulised meenutades suuri kivitükke.

Abstract [en]

Subject of the following thesis is construction of a golf course in Tallinn. Location for the new course is on a limestone terrace between Lasnamäe and Maarjamää. Goal is to develop a sporting centre which also provides other activities besides golf. Among other features the planned building will offer a swimming pool, gym, indoor golf and accommodation at a hotel. Different features are divided into multiple levels of the building, therefore binding entire space into one seemingly appearing whole. Selected location is very close by to Tallinn city centre being situated on a terrace it provides countless scenic views. My ambition is to develop a golf course and to offer a chance to have a great time even without playing golf. After analyzing the concept of public space I have discovered that it is not always public to everybody. Certain regions change into closed structures because of their function. Such multi purpose locations in city centres which provide different features are a key point in developing a quality urban environment. Purpose is to tidy up neglected space in the form of a golf course and in doing so keeping light traffic routes untouched which are currently present. Functionality of the course is to separate golf courses from Narva freeway and to make a subtle transition from greenlands to Lasnamäes apartment buildings. Architectural solution for this area comes from the cliff. Building consists of four different height spaces reaching partly underground. Whole concept is based on limestone and its structure. Facade is covered with limestone. According to plan all spaces are varying reminding big pieces of rock.
