Abstract

Antud töös kajastatakse kerg- ja siirdekatendite valmistamist. Käsitletud on hetkel kehtivaid juhendeid ja tööle esitatavaid nõudeid. "Kergkatete ehitamise juhis" on kehtinud juba peaaegu 9 aastat. Juhise uuendamine on äärmiselt vajalik. Korrektse juhendi järgi on saab koostada vajalikud nõuded, millega peab tööde teostamisel arvestama. Lõputööga näidatakse, et kerg- ja siirdekatendite ehitamine on majanduslikult vajalik kohalikele omavalitsutele ja teistele vähem rahastatud asutustele, kellele asfaltbetoonkatendi tellimine ei ole rahaliselt jõukohane. Uue asfaltkatete standardiseeria koostamisel ja täiustamisel karmistati nõudeid selliselt, et väikse liikluskoormusega teedel ei kasutata enam vähemnõudlikes segudes kohalikke kivimaterjale. Materjalide ja tehnoloogia valikul peab esmalt vaatama Euroopa Liidus kehtivaid nõudeid, kuid kunagi ei tohi unustada riigi kontinentaalsusest tingitud iseärasusi ja klimaatilist paiknemist. Kõiki eelised tuleb kasulikult ära kasutada ja viia sisse vajalikke mugandusi, mida on varasemalt proovitud. Kerg- ja siirdekatete idee on soodsatest, kohalikest ja käepärastest materjalidest valmistatud kate, mis on mõeldud just kohalikele teedele. Antud töösse kogutud ideed on isiklikud, kuid võivad olla vajalikud lihtsamate katendikihtide valmistamiseks.

Abstract [en]

SUMMARY This paper provides an overview of making light and transition-type pavements. The currently valid instructions and requirements set for the work have been handled in the paper. “The instruction for construction of light pavements“ has been valid for almost 9 years. The updating of the instruction is extremely necessary. The necessary requirements to be taken into account in performing the works can be drawn up based on the accurate instruction. The final paper indicates that the building of light and transition-type pavements is economically necessary for the local governments and other less financed establishments for whom the order of asphalt concrete pavement is financially not affordable. The new standard series of asphalt covers were prepared and improved by making the requirements stricter so that local stone materials are no more used in the less-demanding mixtures on the roads with low traffic. The materials and technology should be first chosen based on the requirements valid in the European Union, but the peculiarities and climatic location caused by continentality of the state should never be forgotten. All advantages should be beneficially used and previously tried necessary adaptations should be introduced. The idea of light and transition-type pavements lies in the cover made of favourable, local and handy materials just meant for local roads. The ideas collected to the given paper are personal, but could be necessary for making the simpler layers of pavement.
