Abstract

Antud töö keskendus Tauria ralliauto esivedrustuse projekteerimisele ning konstrueerimisele.Tauria ralliauto vedrustuse analüüsimisel kasutati suurt hulka analüüsivahendeid, mille tulemusena selgus, et sõiduki vedrustuses on vaja läbi viia muudatusi ning täiendusi, mis parandaksid vedrustuse kinemaatikat ja ühtlasi ka sõiduki välimust. Analüüsimise abivahenditena kasutati peamiselt sõiduki 3D – skanneerimist ning Susprogi vedrustuse analüüsimise arvutiprogrammi. Projekteeritud esivedrustus parandas sõiduki välimust ning annab kõik eeldused sõiduki vedrustuse kinemaatika reguleerimiseks vastavalt soovitud olukorrale ning sõidustiilile. Välimuse parandamiseks laiendati sõiduki esisillas rööbet. Esivedrustuse kinemaatika ning välimuse parandamiseks projekteeriti ning konstrueeriti sõidukile uued õõtshoovad ning uus roolivarras. Kinemaatika seadistamiseks on ülemise õõtshoova kerepoolsed kuulliigendid reguleeritavad. Säilis võimalus kerepoolsest osast reguleerida alumist õõtsooba ning samaks jäi ka roolivarda reguleerimise lahendus. Detailide peal läbi viidud FEM – analüüsid näitasid, et projekteeritud alumine õõtshoob ning roolivarras on piisavalt tugevad. Ülemine õõtshoob ning rooliõlak vajavad täiustamist ning täiustamise soovitused on töös ära märgitud.

Abstract [en]

The Tauria B-class rallycar was built in 1986 by few Estonian rally enthusiasts. From the original front engined and front wheel drive Zaz Tauria a totally new car was made with mid – engine and rear wheel drive. Total of three of these cars were made from which 2 of them still exist. One of them is our object for this thesis named: Designing and engineering the front suspension and steering system of the Tauria rallycar. This thesis concentrates on the designing and engineering of the front suspension of the Tauria rallycar. Before the process of designing, a thorough analysing was made using a great amount of modern analysing and measuring equipment. 3D- scanner was used to create virtual 3D model of the car to be used with the Catia design software. Susprog suspension analysing software was used to analyse the old front suspension and also to design the new one. The consequence of measuring and analysing was that there is room for improvement related to the suspension kinematics and also the appearance of the car. The newly engineered front suspension improved the appearance of the car and provides a presumtion for choosing the right settings for the front suspension in every condition and driving style. To improve the appearance of the car the track width was widened 90 mm from each side. To improve the kinematics and appearance of the rallycar a new set of longer wishbones and steering arms were designed and engineered. For adjusting the performance of the front suspension, the upper wishbones now have adjustable uniball bearings at the chassis end. Virtual simulation and testing was made on all of the designed objects using the Catia FEM – analysis environment. The results showed us that the designed lower wishbone and the steering rod is strong enough to withstand the forces in the suspension. The design of the upper wishbone and the steering knuckle need to be improved. The possible ways of improvement have been mentioned in the FEM – analysis part of the thesis.
