Abstract

Lõputöö autori eesmärgiks oli luua tekstiiliga dekoreeritav viimistlusplaat. Tekstiilmaterjal annab plaadile dekoorkihi, siis laieneb sellega ka plaadi kujundamise võimalus ning kliendil on võimalus valida endale sobiv kujundus. Tekstiilmaterjal annab võimaluse luua viimistlusplaatidega emotsionaalset sidet, näiteks kasutada tekstiilmaterjali, mis omab aastatepikkuseid mälestusi ja valmistada sellest interjööri viimistlusplaadid. Selliselt kujunevad mälestused pidevasse vaatevälja. Tekstiiliga dekoreeritavate plaatidega rõhutakse kvaliteetsematele plaatimistöödele, kus välja arendatud sise-ja välisnurkade lahendus välistab silikooni või liistude kasutamise ja annab naturaalsema tulemuse. Plaadi tagumine külg koosneb segust, mis annab plaadile massiivsuse ja paksuse, juhul kui soovitakse plaati kasutada ka keraamiliste plaatide vahel. Käesolevas lõputöös on tehtud vaid esimesed sammud püstitatud laiema eesmärgi suunas, sest võimalus on toota väga suuri ja erinevaid plaate. Tänapäeval müüdavad lakid on UV kiirguse kindlad, mis annavad võimaluse kasutada plaate välistingimustes ning valmistada välisseina paneele. Lõputöö katsete tulemustena valmisid siseviimistlusplaadid, millised on suure tugevusega, niiskuskindlad, vett ja mustust hülgavad, kerged, kriimustuskindlad ning väga heade disainiomadustega. Tootmisprotsessi arendamine jätkub ning eesmärgiks on toota rohkem plaate väiksema ajakuluga ning seeläbi ka plaadi hinda vähendada. Tootmisprotsessi arendatakse nii üksiktellimustest kui ka masstootmisest lähtuvalt. Lõputöö autori visioon on aasta pärast olla oma plaatidega siseviimistlusturul ning alustada plaatide ekspordiga.

Abstract [en]

„Moisture Resistant Finish Plate Decorated with Textile“. The objective of the paper was to create an interior finishing tile on the basis of textile and epoxy resin, where the epoxy resin would be reinforced by textile. At the same time, it was important that the textile would give the required properties – colour and patterns – to the tile. As the textile material gives a decorative layer to the tile, this extends the possibilities for designing the tile. The bottom of the tile is made of concrete, which gives the tile massiveness and thickness if the textile tile is to be used between ceramic tiles. Tagina is an Italian manufacturer of ceramic tiles and they offer four collections: modern, classic, mosaic and rustic. Their biggest difference from other companies in the ceramics sector is that they have their own research laboratory where technicians, chemists and painters constantly plan, investigate and test out new ceramics projects. Therefore, the production process combines handicraft with business-like thinking and industrial organisation to create an exclusive product equipped with high technological content and skilful handicraft. This paper only makes the first steps towards the objective set since it is possible to produce very large tiles as the varnishes are UV-radiation resistant, tests will begin on how textile tiles sustain weather in particularly extreme conditions. If the results are positive, it would be possible to produce exterior wall panels. The tests resulted in interior finishing tiles, which are very strong, humidity-proof, water and dirt resistant, light, not scratched easily, with sides that can be turned up and with very good design properties. The company would largely follow the “green” way of thinking as the production process has been developed in a way that a minimum amount of production waste is created. The technological side of the production process is still in initial stages and the objective at the moment is to continue developing it to produce more tiles with less time, and therefore, to reduce the price of a tile. The production process can be developed into a production line. The vision is to have employees and begin export in a year.
